Toyota Makes HD Radio Standard on Yaris
Columbia, MD - Oct 10, 2012 - Toyota announced that the Yaris will offer HD Radio standard for the 2013 model year. Toyota has included TECH Audio as standard equipment across the Yaris line-up. TECH Audio includes features like HD Radio, AM/FM, CD player, six speakers, auxiliary audio jack, USB port with iPod connectivity, music streaming via Bluetooth wireless technology and others. TECH Audio is also Sirius XM satellite radio compatible, but extra hardware is required.
HD Radio is or will be available as a factory installed feature from 28 automotive brands including Acura, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini USA, Porsche, Ram, Rolls-Royce, Scion, SRT (Chrysler), Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
