Total Traffic Network, Global Alert Network Partner on Traffic Info via Mobile Devices
San Antonio, New York - Feb 9, 2011 - Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network (TTN) has entered a partnership with Global Alert Network, a subsidiary of Global Traffic Network. TTN will provide traffic data and local support for Global Traffic Network's traffic alerting system that notifies drivers of accidents and delays through a voice-activated phone alert application.
Drivers will be able to maintain a hands-free environment as audio reports are broadcast through the phone automatically and do not require the driver to answer or interact with the phone in any way. The Global Alert Network service is an ad-supported, free application to consumers, and TTN will provide traffic information including delays, accidents, construction and events.
