Technicsat Offers New DAB+ Radio Options
Daun, Germandy - Jun 14, 2012 - Technisat has introduced three new DAB+ receivers: the model 200, the 300, and the 500.
The model 200 is a portable radio with DAB+ along with FM. Its built-in lithium-polymer battery allows it to run up to 10 hours. It can be used with a 12 volt power supply as well.
The model 300 is a stationary set, with DAB+ and FM. Technisat's idea is that this radio is more suited for the kitchen, bedroom or other rooms in the house. It has built-in EQ, with a backlit display that shows the station name and other info. The user can connect it to a larger home system via its auxiliary audio output.
The model 500 can be used to receive DAB+, FM and stations via the Internet. This can be done with LAN or WLAN, or via UPnP connection to other devices around the home. A large 3.5-inch color display with touch-screen functionality shows the station names and additional information and other services such as video clips, album covers or score tables. It also features retractable sliding mechanism that normally hides an iPod/iPhone docking station. The 500 also features built-in speakers driven by a set of 30W amplifiers.
