Potters Bar, UK - Aug 3, 2011 - Bruno Hochstrasser returns to Studer as general manager, reporting to Andy Trott, VP and general manager, mixing and microphones and headphones.

Hochstrasser joined Studer in 1971 and was instrumental in establishing Studer's leadership in recording studio tape machines with iconic models such as the A800 (he was the product manager for its launch in 1978) and other machines. In 1990, he became president of Studer. During the 1990s, the company realigned its focus to digital mixing consoles. Less than two years ago, he decided to go into semi-retirement but remained connected with the company as a brand ambassador, mainly in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
