Sessions on Live Sound Highlight of 135th Audio Engineering Society Convention
New York - Sep 5, 2013 - The 135th Audio Engineering Society Convention (Oct. 17 - 20, 2013, at the Javits Center in New York City) will again feature a Live Sound track of events, bringing a high level of focus to key aspects of live sound, with expertise and insight shared by some of the industry's top professionals. Reprising their roles as co-chairmen of the Live Sound track for the convention are Henry Cohen and Mac Kerr.
This year's Live Sound Track will cover topics both core and emerging, from signal processing, grounding, loudness and metering, to the rapidly evolving domain of networked audio, where several sessions, such as "Audio Distribution Over Networks," will address systems and protocols like Dante and Audio Video Bridging (AVB).
The roster for this year's AES Live Sound Track features a mix of cutting-edge new topics and updated familiar subjects. Topics include:
