Indianapolis - May 20, 2010 - The Society of Broadcast Engineers Nominations Committee has submitted a slate of candidates for this summer's board of directors election. The committee is chaired by board member Jim Leifer, CPBE. Serving on the committee with Leifer are Leonard Charles, CPBE, William Ryall and James Schoedler, CBNT.
Qualified SBE members may still be nominated by a voting member of SBE if accompanied by the endorsement of at least nine additional voting members. Election ballots will be mailed from the national office to voting members in good standing by July 27, 2010, and are to be returned so they are received by the national office by Aug. 26. Votes will be tabulated on the evening of Aug. 26. Those elected will take office during the SBE National Meeting on Oct. 27 in Madison, WI.
