More than 1,000 radio stations are operating on WideOrbit's radio automation system, WO Automation for Radio. In August 2009, WideOrbit acquired the assets of Google's radio automation business. WideOrbit rebuilt Google radio automation as WO Automation for Radio and by April 2012, WideOrbit's radio automation team was installing the system at a rate of more than 100 stations per year with more than 500 live stations.
Rogers Media, a division of Rogers Communications, owns 53 AM and FM radio stations across Canada. A WO Traffic user since 2009 and WO Automation for Radio user since November 2012, its 680News station in Toronto was the 1,000th radio station to go live on WO Automation for Radio.
