Audio-Technica microphones and headphones are now being used by SXSWfm, the dedicated online radio portal of the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival, which takes place each year in Austin, Texas. This year’s festival, which will be held March 7-16, will encompass film, media, technology, and of course music, with over 1700 showcasing artists playing live. The channel is now live at and currently features artists that have showcased during the SXSW’s 27-year history and all other aspects of the festival.

StreamOn has partnered with Commotion from Broadcast Electronics to allow listeners to make requests in real time and vote on songs they would like to hear on the station. Commotion also allows StreamOn listeners to purchase the music as well. As songs are voted on the radio stations can either play the songs that are most popular right now, prepare special top-request programming or program the station's entire music rotation. With Crowd Control listeners can vote for (and hear) their favorite songs 24/7. The station is always in control of the pool of songs available to vote on.
