■ Clear Channel Philadelphia, PA, purchased a VP-8 Plus audio processor.
■ CBC Radio in Sept-Îles, QB, purchased an Aura8-IP audio processing Blade.
Alan Dick Broadcast Limited (ADBL) has been awarded a contract from Abertis Telecom for an antenna upgrade to the Torre de Collserola radio and TV tower in Barcelona, Spain. ADBL has been commissioned to replace the tower's aging unit with its high power, multi-channel FM circularly polarized antenna.
India National Broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) has ordered two 100kW shortwave transmitters from Ampegon. Factory tests together with AIR engineers are planned for January and shipment for February 2014. AIR will install the transmitters at a site near New Delhi. The new transmitters are expected to be on air in October 2014.
