Sudan Radio has upgraded its operations to the Netia Radio-Assist 8.1 range of digital audio automation software. Sudan Radio first launched Radio-Assist in 2005, after working closely with Netia to migrate its tape-based archives to digital. With this upgrade to version 8.1, the North African broadcaster will take advantage of newly enhanced tools for broadcasting, editing, and music scheduling.

An Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing system has been installed in the live studio of UK radio station XFM. Comprising an iLive-T112 and iDR-64 MixRack, the system is used to record visiting artists for pre-recorded sessions.
JacAPPS has hit 19 million total downloads as of May 2013. The company has developed 775 apps.
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and indie music label Innovative Leisure announced an agreement that will enable Innovative Leisure's artists to receive a share of revenue for airplay on Clear Channel's 850 AM/FM stations in 150 U.S. markets and on iHeartRadio digital radio.
