Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has upgraded its regional station in Ipoh to Netia Radio-Assist 8.1. Netia's Radio-Assist family of digital audio software programs has been in use at RTM for more than a decade, and the Ipoh-based station worked with Broadcast Communications International (BCI) to transition to the latest software release and begin working with new features including the Activity Watcher module. Based in Kuala Lumpur, RTM operates four television channels (TV1, TV2, IMRT, Muzik Aktif), six national radio stations, two international stations (Voice of Malaysia), and 16 regional stations.
TuneIn has struck alliances with 18 major broadcast companies, representing more than 250 total stations. TuneIn will provide each broadcaster with access to analytics through TuneIn Amplifier, and access to the audio service's ad platform. The stations and programs included in the deals:

Wheatstone has posted console sales to:
■ University of Northern Iowa's KUNI-FM, Cedar Falls, IA, ordered six LX-24 control surfaces and 23 WheatNet-IP Blades.
■ WBSU-FM in Brockport, NY, ordered an E-6 control surface and E Series satellite cage to expand an existing network.
■ Ocala Broadcasting of Florida purchased two E-1 control surfaces and a WheatNet-IP network through BSW.
KPLU and Jazz24 have re-signed with Abacast to use the Clarity Digital Radio System for streaming.
Wheatstone Processing is making good sound at WPST-FM in Trenton, NJ with an AirAura audio processor, and Cumulus San Francisco with three M-2 digital voice processors for the Randy Savage Show.
