Just ahead of Hurricane Sandy and again a week before the presidential election, Wheatstone commissioned a WheatNet-IP router with IP-12 consoles at FEMA's Media Center, and at the White House Communications Agency located at the Dwight D. Eisenhower office building adjacent to the White House. The White House Communications Agency is using the Wheatstone system in a new HD TV control room for producing presidential related communications. FEMA's Media Center, a short jaunt from the White House, is using a similar Wheatstone system for several studios and a briefing room. Both installations were put to good use during Sandy and the presidential election that followed.
