APT, part of the WorldCast Systems group, has sold more than 100 Horizon NextGen IP codecs with SureStream technology in North America in the few months since the 2012 NAB Show. SureStream was first launched at the 2011 NAB Show, where it received a Radio magazine Pick Hit. SureStream is available on several platforms including the stereo Horizon NextGen and the multi-channel WorldNet Oslo and has been recently added to the entry level Stream-In Silver IP encoder and Stream-Out Silver decoder.
Medi 1 Radio in Morocco will go live by the end of 2012 with Netia's Air-DDO, the broadcasting module of the Radio-Assist 8 automation system. Medi 1 will replace its existing CartStack on-air system for broadcast operations with an optimized workflow and increased automation using Air-DDO.
Hubbard Radio has signed with TuneIn to carry Hubbard's 21 major-market stations on TuneIn. Hubbard Radio owns and operates stations in five U.S. markets: Chicago; Washington, DC; Minneapolis-St. Paul; St. Louis and Cincinnati.
