Radiate Media is the exclusive provider of traffic content for all Cox Media Group radio stations in Jacksonville, FL. The Cox stations will have access to Radiate Broadcaster, which includes current and predictive travel-time information, personalized alerting and fully integrated, real-time traffic mapping and graphics.
Multicultural Radio Broadcasting (MRBI) radio station KBLA-AM in Los Angeles has upgraded its transmission system, with plans to light up a new Harris 3DX-50 solid-state AM transmitter by the end of January 2012. The new transmitter implements Modulation Dependent Carrier Level (MDCL) technology using Harris Adaptive Carrier Control Plus (ACC+) systems to help the station reduce average power consumption and operating costs.
Public national broadcaster Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV) is upgrading to the Netia Radio-Assist 8 range of digital audio automation software, delivered by Belgian systems integrator Studiotech. The added functionality and scalability of Radio-Assist 8 will enable CRTV to support both national and regional broadcast channels, to improve production and delivery of quality audio content, and ultimately help the broadcaster to increase its listening audience.
