Finnish radio and television service provider Digita has contracted Obelux to install an LED high-intensity obstacle light system on a broadcast mast in Tiirismaa, Finland. At 327 meters, the mast is the tallest construction in the country. The new LED lights will replace a Xenon system. The installation will place lamps at 100m, 200m, 296m and on top of the mast.
Voice of Russia, Russia's state-owned national broadcaster, has chosen Axia Livewire IP-Audio consoles and routers to power its new studio in Washington. The sale was made through St. Petersburg-based Axia representative Tract and includes a 20-position Element 2.0 mixing console, PowerStation console engine, AxiaAudio and Axia Pathfinder Pro Router Control software.
