Zimmer Radio's KATI-FM, KCLR-FM, KFALAM, KSSZ-FM, KTGR-AM/FM, KTXY-FM and KWOS-AM in Columbia, MO are signed up for using vCreativePPO.
ESPN, with six domestic cable networks and presence in nearly 400 million homes, has puchased Telos Hx2 digital hybrid telephone interfaces. The equipment sale was made through Telos distributor Broadcasters General Store of Ocala, FL.
KAVX-FM, serving the Lufkin/Nacogdoches region of eastern Texas and western Louisiana, has turned on a new Harris HPX20 tube transmitter capable of simultaneous HD Radio and FM transmission. The HPX20 is currently transmitting at 9.5kW TPO (FM-only), and operates at an efficient 23kW ERP from a height of 723' above ground level. Though transmitting in FM only at this time, the station required a new transmitter with HD Radio-capability to replace an analog-only QEI model. Harris installed a FlexStar HDX-FM digital exciter in the transmitter for HD Radio when the station is ready.
Radio France, the French national broadcasting company, and the primary producer of radio programming for France, has recently upgraded its Studio 108 with a 24+8 fader Solid State Logic C100 Digital Broadcast Console. Radio France has over 60 studios in its main building in Paris dedicated to different types of program production. The C100 HDS in Studio 108 is used for talking head and interview/magazine type programming as well as small live music performances. The console represents the ninth C100 in operation at Radio France facilities.
