Austrian public broadcaster ORF has installed Barix audio-over-IP hardware and software for broadcast monitoring at one of its radio stations and to support online audio streams for its website. To date, the broadcaster has installed several Barix Instreamer 100 encoders for online streams, as well as a software-based audio-over-IP playback system that provides digital audio networking for approximately 35 journalists at FM4, a multilingual radio station broadcasting in English, French and German.
Radio Trausnitz, a regional broadcaster serving Bavaria, has installed Axia equipment. The main air studio includes a custom, flat-mounted 20-position Element 2.0 console with an Element Call Controller to interface with a Telos Nx12 broadcast phone system, plus an assortment of Axia Audio Nodes, Router Selector nodes and studio accessory panels.
Dalet Digital Media Systems announced that Czech Radio has migrated its central radio broadcast station to Dalet Radio Suite HD. Czech Radio is the Czech Republic's national public radio broadcaster with six main radio stations located in Prague and 12 regional stations throughout the country. Phase one of the installation equipped two of the Czech Radio Prague stations with the Dalet enterprise asset management based newsroom solution.
