Sales Call for the Week of Jul 4 - 10, 2013
Telos has posted several sales:
■ Cartier Media's WICY and WVNV in Upstate New York (Malone) purchased a Telos Hx1 POTS hybrids
■ Cumulus' Dallas cluster (WBAP AM-FM, KLIF AM-FM, KSCS-FM, KTCK, KPLX-FM) have taken delivery of four Z/IP One IP Codecs and two Zephyr iPort 8x8 MPEG Gateways
■ Dow Jones & Co.'s Wall Street Journal Radio in NYC upgraded its phone hybrids with two Hx1 POTS hybrids and one Hx2 POTS hybrid. It also bought a new Zephyr Xstream ISDN codec.
Wheatstone has posted international sales:
■ MediaWorks (Christchurch, NZ) purchased four LX-24 control surfaces and one L-8 control surface, plus two SideBoard surfaces and 27 WheatNet-IP Blades through Southern Broadcast Limited.
■ Entertainment Network (New Delhi, India) purchased a D-75 console.
■ Broadcast World Philippines (Manila) purchased two Air-1 consoles for a broadcaster there.
■ Young Nak (Seoul, Korea) purchased an IP-12 control surface and M4-IP four-channel mic processor for a station there.
■ Thailand Government, Public Relations Department, (Bangkok) purchased four D-75 consoles through Broadcast and Studio.
■ Clyde Broadcast Products (Kenya) purchased a WheatNet-IP system with eight Blades, including an Aura8-IP processor Blade, for a station there.
■ MediaWorks (Auckland, NZ) purchased 12 SideBoard surfaces, 14 WheatNet-IP Blades and 12 IP audio drivers for a newsroom project through Southern Broadcast Limited.
CBC/Radio-Canada's Montreal facility is upgrading its broadcast studios, including the purchase and installation of four Studer Vista 1 digital mixing consoles, a Route 6000 routing and signal processing system, three Vista Compact Remote Bays and interfacing equipment. The consoles were sold through Studer distributor Soundcraft Canada.
Axia is supplying equipment for Cumulus Media Networks in New York (the former ABC Networks NOC) is now taking delivery on a huge rebuild order that includes 208 Axia xNode AoIP Interfaces, including analog, AES/EBU and GPIO xNodes, 55 Axia Multi-Channel IP-audio drivers for Windows and PathfinderPC routing control with clustering backup.
