Wheatstone posts sales in Canada:
■ Radio 95 FM (Toronto, ON) ordered a WheatNet-IP system with two E-1 control surfaces and five processor Blades, including a new M4-IP four-channel mic processor Blade and Aura8-IP processing Blade, plus an M2 dual channel mic processor through Ron Paley Broadcast.
■ Astral Radio (Gatineau, QC) purchased a SideBoard surface and WheatNet-IP Blade plus Navigator software through Marketing Marc Vallee.
■ Corus Entertainment (Winnipeg, MB) purchased a WheatNet-IP Blade and audio driver for an existing WheatNet-IP system through Ron Paley Broadcast.
■ Corus Entertainment (Edmonton, AB) purchased two E-1 virtual mixers and multiple guest panels to add to an existing WheatNet-IP system.
■ CBC (Matane, QC) purchased a WheatNet-IP system with E-1 and E-6 control surfaces and eight IP Blades, plus Navigator software, several guest panel stations and multiple XY Controllers through Marketing Marc Vallee.
Indiana Public Broadcasting Stations (IPBS), a consortium of eight PBS TV stations and nine NPR radio stations serving communities across Indiana, is now installing a Harris Broadcast networking solution to share and manage broadcast content across all 17 member stations. Based on a new cost-efficient, high-bandwidth fiber and IP video network, the project gives these Indiana PBS member stations real-time content sharing, collaboration, and distribution capabilities for television and radio.
Triton Digital, the leading digital services provider to the audio industry, today announced that Varick Media Management (VMM) now offers programmatic streaming audio ads through the Triton Digital a2x platform. VMM's cross-channel offerings already include display, video, social, digital venue-based, search, mobile and TV.
OnAir Broadcasting signed a multi-year deal with Clear Channel Satellite to provide satellite distribution for OnAir's flagship show, "Cafe Nashville." The program airs from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. ET every night.
