University Radio York (URY), the student radio station for the University of York, is run by students for students. It began in 1968 when URY became the UK's first legal independent radio station. The station recently installed two Sonifex S2-10 split digital I/O analog radio broadcast mixers.
Austrian Broadcasting Services (ORS) has chosen IT service management software developed by iET Solutions to centralize all the information needed to monitor and manage the ORS national network of transmitter stations at around 450 locations. ORS manages around 80,000 data records using a configuration management database and broadcasting database, which was implemented using software from iET Solutions.
Triton Digital deployed its Advertising Platform including Ad Injector technology to Kiss Telecomunicações LTDA. Kiss Telecomunicações LTDA is the first publisher in São Paulo to utilize Ad Injector to deliver contextual ads to listeners by advanced targeting and online audio ad replacement.
Audioarts Engineering has posted several console sales:
■ Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) purchased an R-55e console through BSW.
■ WXCV/WXOF-FM (Homosassa Springs, FL) purchased an Air-4 console.
■ KUTT-FM (Fairbury, NE) purchased an R-55e console though BSW.
■ DC Broadcasting (Jasper, IN) purchased two R-55e consoles through BSW.
■ SCA Sound Solutions (Tokyo, Japan) purchased an R-55e console for a studio there.
