Wheatstone has posted several audio network sales.
■ New Hampshire Public Radio in Concord, NH, ordered two more IP Blades and WheatNet-IP audio drivers for its AudioVault automation system.
■ Leighton Broadcast in St. Cloud, MN, added three SideBoard control surfaces.
■ Soundfusion in Johannesburg, South Africa, ordered eight more E-1 control surfaces for a community radio station in South Africa.
APT, the audio codec specialists within the WorldCast Systems Group, sold IP audio codecs incorporating SureStream technology to Vatican Radio (Radio Vaticana), the official broadcasting service of the Holy See. The codecs transfer audio from the main Rome studio to a DAB transmission site in Milan.
Jampro Antennas was awarded a contract by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to supply a high-power FM antenna system to provide very specific directional coverage of the Vancouver, BC, DMA. Broadcasting from a tower atop 4,754' Mount Seymour, a Jampro model JAHD Arrowhead Dipole panel antenna will provide the CBC with above average pattern stability and axial control so as not to interfere with adjacent U.S. border stations.
