Canadian broadcaster Newcap Radio has selectedWideOrbit's WO Traffic, WO Media Sales and WO Automation for Radio for its markets in the Atlantic division. Newcap Radio is Canada's second largest radio licensee with 86 licenses across Canada. WO Traffic and WO Media Sales will be installed in all 27 stations that span 16 markets across Atlantic Canada and will standardize its automation system on WO Automation for Radio throughout the company, starting with the Atlantic region and following with the broadcaster's Central and Western regions.
WideOrbit announced that more than 240 TV stations, radio stations and media networks have selected WO Analytics, WideOrbit's business intelligence system that helps media companies identify new business opportunities, improve pricing, streamline operations and increase forecasting accuracy. WO Analytics was introduced a the 2012 NAB Show.
