Wheatstone Processing is making good sound at:
■ WFIT-FM (Melbourne, FL) purchased three M-2 digital voice processors and added a Blade to expand an existing WheatNet-IP system.
■ Curtis Media (Raleigh, NC) purchased four M-1 digital voice processors through SCMS.
■ Red FM (Calgary, AB) purchased an Aura8IP audio processor and two GP8 (hot-button controllers) for an existing WheatNet-IP system through Ron Paley Broadcast.
■ CKUA-FM (Edmonton, AB) ordered two M-2 digital microphone processors for an existing WheatNet-IP system through Ron Paley Broadcast.
■ Univision (Los Angeles, CA) purchased 39 M-2 dual channel digital voice processors for a new facility.
Radio Televisyen Brunei (Radio Television Brunei or RTB), the state broadcaster of Brunei, runs five radio networks from its base at Bandar Seri Begawan. These are National FM, Pilihan FM, Pelangi FM, Harmoni FM and Nur Islam FM. Recently a Studer OnAir 2500 fixed frame console, configured with 18 faders, became the de facto choice for its regional studio in the Tutong district. Previously the broadcasters had been using a Studer 916 for its on-air studio for the past 15 years.
Listener Driven Radio's crowdcasting technology will now be offered to European radio stations through a new partnership between LDR and Oxis Media. LDR has appointed Oxis Media as its European sales representative.
