Barix is helping Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, CA, stream its Sunday services to KDIA-AM 1640. Allen Temple Baptist transmitted its services via telephone line to the radio station for more than 30 years, but was looking to become more cost-efficient while moving into the digital age. The church purchased a Barix Instreamer 100 for on-site encoding of live services, and an Exstreamer 100 for KDIA to receive and decode the audio.
Wheatstone has sold console and routers:
■ University of Michigan's WUOM-FM in Ann Arbor ordered a WheatNet-IP system with two E-6 and two E-1 control surfaces.
■ Fairchild Radio in Toronto purchased two Blade access units and PC audio drivers for an existing WheatNet-IP network.
■ A1 Radio in Toronto purchased a WheatNet-IP system with LX-24 control surface, two IP-12 control surfaces, and Aura8-IP audio processing Blade and Navigator software through Ron Paley Broadcast, Canada.
■ CHIN Radio in Toronto purchased a WheatNet-IP system with two LX-24 control surfaces, one E-1 control surface, an Air-4 console and several Blade access units along with Glass E and Navigator software through Ron Paley Broadcast, Canada.
■ CBC in Edmonton added two more Blade access units to an existing WheatNet-IP system through Marketing Marc Vallee, Quebec.
■ CBC in Charlotte Town added five more Blade access units to an existing WheatNet-IP system through Marketing Marc Vallee, Quebec.
■ Clear Channel in Charlotte, NC, purchased a MADI router card and MADI Blade access unit to move from TDM routing to AoIP networking.
■ The Swiss government ordered three E-1 control surfaces and Blade access units through Media Engineering, Switzerland.
