The Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency (ERTA) is using Netia Radio-Assist 8 to overhaul and upgrade its nationwide radio service. ERTA, which broadcasts daily in the 11 languages spoken by ethnic groups among the country's population, is implementing a project to boost its transmission coverage and migrate from tape to file-based operations.
Audioarts Engineering has posted several sales:
■ Clear Channel in Atlanta purchased two X-12 digital consoles.
■ WBAL-AM Baltimore purchased two Air-1 consoles.
■ WFNX-FM Boston purchased an IP-12 digital console.
■ A D-75 digital console went to a station in Indonesia through Catur Mitra Adhikara, Jakarta, Indonesia.
■ An R-55e digital console went to Turkey through SR Tek, Istanbul, Turkey.
■ Two R-55e and one D-75 digital consoles went to Thailand through Broadcast and Studio Company, Bangkok.
■ FM Nordeste (Brazil) purchased a D-75 console through Savanna Comunicacoes, Rio de Janeiro.
■ TownSquare Media in Brewer, ME, purchased an R-55e digital console.
