Sales Call for the Week of Aug 9 - Aug 15, 2012
The Total Traffic Network Sigalert App for iPhone and iPod touch has exceeded more than 500,000 downloads, an achievement reached since the app launched in March 2011. Sigalert provides detailed, 24/7 traffic updates including real-time roadway speeds and traffic alerts for accidents, construction, road closures and traffic congestion. In addition, web and mobile users can use Sigalert to find the shortest routes, create personal profiles with traffic alerts and view alternate routes to stay ahead of traffic congestion. The free service provides data gathered by Total Traffic Network from its numerous local traffic operations centers and uses a variety of resources to identify, verify and distribute accurate and reliable traffic information.
