Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) has deployed the Dalet Digital Media Systems Radio Suite at its news center in St. Paul, MN. The Dalet installation is the first phase in a revamping of the technical infrastructure, replacing a mix of outdated systems and equipment to provide MPR with a highly efficient news production and playout system for the network's on-air operations and web production.
Logitek Electronic Systems has received several orders for the company's new ROC control surface along with AoIP and TDM audio platforms. The radio orders include ROC consoles ordered by Backyard Broadcasting's WKNI in Elmira, NY. Backyard Broadcasting's three ROCs in 6, 12 and 18 fader configurations will be paired with two JetStream Mini AoIP units.
Societatea Româna de Radiodifuziune (SRR), the national Romanian radio broadcaster has purchased the NOA mediARC Web module to install on its existing mediARC system at its main facility in Bucharest, Romania. The module will make it possible for regional stations to access SRR's Golden Fonoteca audio-heritage archives via the Internet.
