VCS Media Broadcast has been awarded a contract with the British Broadcasting Corporation to provide audio editing and playout systems across the BBC. Over the next four years, almost all the BBC's main audio editing and playout systems will require a technology refresh. VCS will supply Dira products for the project.
The Universal Music Group (UMG) has chosen Destiny's Play MPE media distribution system to securely distribute pre-release tracks throughout Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. The international agreement provides Play MPE services to all 77 countries where Universal Music's wholly owned companies and licensees operate.
