WCPE in Wake Forest, NC, has added the Public Radio Tuner from American Public Media as an app for the Iphone and Ipod Touch.


Ten radio stations have recently launched new websites as part of the Media Span online network. The sites have launched via the Media Span Agile Level I, a website template for radio stations that includes blog templates, on-air now sections, listener polls, listener club links, listen live graphical links and IAB standard ad units. The stations added are:

    The Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Foneshow have launched an exclusive program called PRN Monday Morning Race Recap. The program is available to Nascar fans on mobile phones. The program, hosted by Doug Rice, is available each Monday during the Nascar season.


    Marketron has signed its 1000th terrestrial radio station to Marketron Exchange. Marketron Exchange integrates media buying systems and radio station business systems.


    Genesis Communications has signed an agreement with Radiolicious to stream its radio stations on Iphone and Ipod Touch devices. Genesis Communications owns and operates stations in Tampa, Orlando and Melbourne, FL.


    International Datacasting Corporation has been selected by SES Americom-New Skies to provide equipment to customers who will upgrade to DVB-S2 platform offerings via its IP Sys IP trunking service. The initial order from SES Americom-New Skies is for 200 Superflex SFX 3102 DVB-S/S2 receivers.
