Sales call for the week of April 29 - May 5, 2010
Radio Foorti expanded its network in April 2010 with the installation of Broadcast Electronics FM 10S transmitter systems at five new RF sites, becoming the largest privately operated network of FMs in Bangladesh. Radio Foorti's new transmitter operations in Khulna, Rajshahi, Barishal, Mymensingh and Cox's Bazar add to its existing operations in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong that went on the air in 2006. Radio Foorti also acquired a new BE STX LP 1 kW transmitter for emergency mobile back up.
Logitek Electronic Systems has sold audio console systems to a number of users around the United States and in Australia. JetStream console engine/IP audio networking systems were sold to KACU-FM in Abilene, TX; WLKG in Lake Geneva, WI; KMOJ in Minneapolis; and Stanford University's KZSU in Palo Alto, CA. KACU plans to use the JetStream for IP audio routing; the two JetStream units at KZSU will be used to share the facility's audio sources among its studios. KZSU also ordered a Mosaic-12 control surface for an on-air studio. WLKG purchased a JetStream and Remora console package. KMOJ will place two JetStream units and three Remora control surfaces in various studios in their facility.
Other Radio orders in the USA included a Pilot-12 control surface for WLCC in Tampa, FL, and a Mosaic-8 control surface for WXPN in Philadelphia. Both stations are expanding existing Logitek systems.
In Melbourne Australia, Chinese Community Radio station 3CR placed an order for four JetStream units, two Pilot-12s and one Pilot-18. The JetStream units will be networked via IP to share audio sources among the three studios at the facility.
