B101 (WBEB-FM) Philadelphia will upgrade its studios to an Axia IP-audio routing network with Axia Element 2.0 broadcast consoles. The WBEB studio rebuild will include four 24-position Element consoles and a total of 24 Axia Audio Nodes. The purchase also includes the comprehensive Axia Pathfinder Pro router control software suite; the sale was made through Axia distributor Broadcasters General Store.
CBS Radio will expand the Axia IP-audio network in its Boston cluster to include WBMX-FM, joining classic rocker WZLX-FM, which deployed Axia studios in 2007. WBMX will rebuild four studios using Axia's Powerstation integrated console engine, paired with Element 2.0 modular broadcast consoles. The sale was made through Axia distributor Broadcasters General Store.
The Saga Communications Charlottesville, VA, radio cluster (WINA-AM, WVAX-AM, WCNR-FM, WQMZ-FM and WWWV-FM) will soon install a new Axia IP-audio routing network and consoles.
Fisher Communications has launched a new search and discovery system to allow consumers to find local news and information that is most relevant to them, while also providing targeted advertising opportunities for local businesses. Based on the new Search and Discovery for Media service by Datasphere, Fisher's sites will provide visitors with the ability to easily search across real-time video, audio and text articles.
