IP Audio and network control are two reasons Clear Channel's Portland, OR, cluster recently installed a 25-Seven Program Delay Manager (PDM). The PDM interfaces directly with an Axia audio network and is being used on KXJM-FM. The PDM's advanced profanity delay features were deployed by Station/IT Engineer Curt Brown and Chief Engineer Chris Weiss. Geoff Steadman, president of 25-Seven, noted that the PDM is also available in a version with an analog plus AES digital interface.
