Radiotime Hires Halyburton as President
Dallas - Feb 10, 2009 - Radio program guide creator Radiotime has hired Dan Halyburton to the the new president. Halyburton, whose experience includes leading some of the first efforts to stream terrestrial radio over the Internet, will report to Radiotime CEO Bill Moore.
Radiotime provides a way to find local, national, or global radio programming airing on more than 50,000 AM/FM and Internet radio stations. Listeners can use Radiotime to automatically detect what is airing on their local stations, browse by affiliates and search for specific programs or on-air personalities.
Halyburton began his career in 1970 as an on-air personality. Halyburton spent 25 years with Susquehanna Radio, where he was the senior vice president and general manager for group operations. Most recently, Halyburton served as senior vice president and market manager with Emmis Communications, overseeing operations for three Emmis New York City radio stations, WQHT-FM, WRKS-FM and WRXP-FM.
