World Radio Network Appoints SM
Washington, DC
Kimberly Rivers has been appointed as World Radio Network’s (WRN)
first ever dedicated sales manager to drive the London-based
international broadcaster and broadcast services organization in its
planned strategic expansion.
Her
primary focus will be WRN’s digital and analog satellite
transmission services, particularly targeting the religious broadcast
market in the USA, as well as Atlantic Crossing - WRN’s fiber
optic link from London to Washington,DC, and the company’s
electronic program guide services. WRN launched its own 40-channel
digital multiplex on the Hotbird satellite last year.
Rivers, who graduated from St. Mary’s University in Indiana,
previously worked at Globecast/France Telecom’s London office on
satellite distribution services for TV and radio.
