Radio magazine Wins 2011 ASBPE Regional Gold Award

2011 ASBPE Regional Gold Award

Kansas City, MO - Jul 27, 2011 - Radio magazine has been honored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors with a 2011 West Region Gold Award for editorial excellence in the Regular Department category for Sign Off, the monthly feature at the end of each issue. The months submitted in the entry were March, April and May 2010.




Senior Associate Editor Erin Shipps receives the award from Jeff Gelski of the Kansas City chapter of the ASBPE.


Radio magazine is also a finalist in the National Awards program in the Best Technical Article category for the March 2010 Trends in Technology article called "N/ACIP: Simplifying Codec Connections". The National Award winners will be announced that the ASBPE national conference in Chicago Aug. 4-5, 2011.

Congratulations go to Erin Shipps, senior associate editor and author of the Sign Off feature, for her work on this ongoing series of articles.
