RAB, BMI, MIW Complete Third Leadership Program
New York - Sep 8, 2010 - The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), in conjunction with BMI and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women (MIW) in Radio Group, has completed the third annual Rising through the Ranks, Women in Radio Management and Leadership Training Program for 2010. Twenty-five scholarships were presented for the 2010 Women in Radio Management and Leadership Training Program at the BMI offices in Nashville, Aug. 31 - Sept. 1.
Scholarship recipients were selected and awarded by the three organizations. The two-day course emphasized the specific needs of women in management roles, including enhancing their overall management knowledge and skills. Curriculum included practical and real-world applications that managers can now utilize in the workplace.
Since the BMI/RAB partnership began eight years ago, more than 200 BMI-funded scholarships for both FastStart Minority Program and the Rising Through The Ranks Workshop have been awarded.
