White Plains, NY - Oct 14, 2008 - RCS has updated G Selector; the goal scheduler, with several features including the ability to update it at multiple sites with the new G Selector to G Selector interface. The feature allows a G Selector workstation at a central site to update a companion G Selector database at a remote site. This feature is primarily intended for operations utilizing one central site to program multiple edge sites.

Also new to G Selector 3.9:

  • Film Name Attribute - music from motion pictures is an International broadcast normality. The company has added a film name attribute to meet these expectations.
  • Automated Installation Option -- Record a G Selector installation on one machine by creating a file containing the installation options, and then automatically replicate the installation on another machine.
  • Support for 64-Bit SQL Server -- fully compatible with the 64-bit edition of SQL Server 2005.
