Pure Intros One Classic II FM/DAB Radio
Sep 12, 2011 - Pure is a UK-based consumer electronics company that introduced its first Internet-connected radio, Evoke Flow in August 2008. The Evoke Flow plays broadcast radio (digital and FM), Internet content or music streamed from a computer. Now Pure has introduced its One Classic Series II DAB and FM radio.
This radio receives DAB and FM radio, shows RDS text scrolling, has 30 presets (15 for FM and 15 for DAB) and a Listen Later function for the user to record DAB programs for later playback. The recorded program is stored in memory while the radio is switched on or in standby until overwritten by another recording. Listen Later allows the user to save a program on a daily or weekly basis, on weekdays or weekends or once-only. The user chooses which program to save by selecting the Listen Later button to set the time, duration, regularity and station. When playing the program the user can pause at any time, and automatic bookmarking allows the user to listen to part of the program and start again from where he left off later. The memory will hold up to about 90 minutes of a typical broadcast (at 64kb/s) and will stop once the memory is full.
The One Classic Series II has an MSRP of $105.
