Nautel VS300 Obtains LPFM Certification
Hackett's Cove, NS - Apr 20, 2011 - Nautel's VS300 transmitter has been granted certification for sale to the United States low power FM (LPFM) market.
LPFM stations in the United States are licensed for 100W ERP at a height of 100'. Manufacturers providing transmitters to this market are required to obtain a special certification from the FCC to ensure compliance with the licensing requirements for the stations.
The VS300 is part of the VS Series of low-power FM transmitters. These productsoffer capabilities including audio over IP, Axia Livewire support, Web remote, Nautel's Advanced User Interface (AUI), an easy upgrade path to digital operation, and Push Radio functionality including audio storage, scheduling, playlists and automation.
