BW Broadcast Updates Audio Processors
Coomber Way, UK - Aug 22, 2008 - The flagship of the BW Broadcast audio processor range, the DSP Xtreme, has received a new software version 1.10. The most noticeable features are the improvements in the multiband and main clippers, further increasing its loudness and lowering distortion.
The DSP Xtreme will be available in two versions: the DSP Xtreme FM+HD and the DSP Xtreme FM. The FM offers a lower cost alternative to broadcasters who will not make use of the HD and diversity delay features of the FM+HD version.
The new version 2.00 for the DSP MPX will also be available with updated features. This high-specification FM stereo generator now incorporates upgraded final clippers taken from the DSP Xtreme. The new version also adds input fallback, where in cases of main program failure, the DSP MPX can switch to an alternative audio source.
