Affinity Radio Debuts on Cambridge DAB Platform
Cambridge, UK - Apr 8, 2011 - Affinity Radio, a new location-specific, community-focused radio station, debuted on the Now Cambridge DAB platform on April 8. Affinity programs mostly music, but with local news and information.
The Now Cambridge DAB platform is provided by Arqiva, a UK-based communications infrastructure and media services company. This is one of two national DAB platforms that cover about 85 percent of the U.K.
Arqiva already broadcasts community stations in Hampshire and South Wales.
