Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA - Feb 27, 2008 - Dan Pregnar has been named director of engineering for Entercom Communications' four radio stations in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA; WDMT-FM, WGGY-FM, WILK-FM and WKRZ-FM. A 25-year radio engineering veteran, Pregnar joined Entercom in 2001 as chief operator in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market. Since that time, he has spearheaded a number of engineering projects, most recently the HD Radio upgrade of all four FM radio stations. Pregnar assumes the duties that Lamar Smith recently held before he was promoted to director of engineering/chief engineer at the company's Austin, TX, cluster.
