Sometimes when the bright lights of Vegas bring on fatigue, the guys at KD Kanopy pitch a digitally-printed awning inside the North Hall, and watch the world go by.
"Hey everybody, look down here." This group found something intriguing on the southwest corner of the Sierra Automated Systems booth - and it's not the plush carpet.
Nearly a thousand "hams" signed-in at the ARRL booth just outside the North Radio Hall of the NAB Convention.

The big payoff: As a thank you to emcee John Marino, Bob Heil presented the Heil PR-40 microphone that had been used at the annual Ham Radio Reception to the guy who used it to make announcements and award prizes to the multitude of amateur radio operators at the Wednesday night event.
