San Francisco - Jun 21, 2011 - WideOrbit has appointed Sean Trigony as general manager of WO Central. WO Central provides a way for agencies and advertisers to buy advertising directly from participating WideOrbit stations and networks.

Trigony has more than 16 years of traditional, emerging media and entertainment sales experience, including local and national television, cable, digital, mobile and national syndication. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales at Myxer, a mobile technology company. He has held senior executive roles at Discovery Communications, Career Sports and Entertainment and HowStuffWorks. Earlier in his career, Trigony held key sales positions at TeleRep, a division of Cox Broadcasting in New York; WGNX-TV/CBS, a Tribune Broadcasting station in Atlanta; and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
