World Radio Network Appoints SM
Kimberly Rivers has been appointed as World Radio Network’s (WRN) first ever dedicated sales manager to drive the London-based international broadcaster and broadcast services organization in its planned strategic expansion.
Her primary focus will be WRN’s digital and analog satellite transmission services, particularly targeting the religious broadcast market in the USA, as well as Atlantic Crossing - WRN’s fiber optic link from London to Washington,DC, and the company’s electronic program guide services. WRN launched its own 40-channel digital multiplex on the Hotbird satellite last year.
Rivers, who graduated from St. Mary’s University in Indiana, previously worked at Globecast/France Telecom’s London office on satellite distribution services for TV and radio.
