Hackett's Cove, NS - May 22, 2012 - Nautel Limited has further expanded its RF sales team with the addition of John Macdonald, who has been appointed as the company's regional sales manager, Middle East/Africa. He will be based in Nautel's Quincy, IL, facility. The addition of Macdonald brings the Nautel sales team to 11 people, each with an average of 25 to 30 years' experience in broadcasting with deep technical backgrounds.

Macdonald holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from Humboldt State University and an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has worked in a senior sales role in broadcasting for 25 years at ITC, Thomson Broadcast and Broadcast Electronics and was most recently regional sales manager, Europe/Middle East/Africa/Latin America at Broadcast Electronics. Macdonald is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
