Mississippi Engineer Electrocuted while working on Transmitter
Greenville, MS - Aug 19, 2010 - Jerry Campbell, a contract engineer, was working at the transmitter site of WDMS when he was electrocuted. Campbell was pronounced dead about 12:25 p.m. after being taken to Delta Regional Medical Center.
A report from WXVT-TV reports that station GM Steve Shelton says the transmitter failed about 5 a.m. that day. Campbell was called to make repairs.
