Irvine, CA - Sep 5, 2007 - Istor Networks, announced that Dr. Kevin C. Daly has assumed the role of chief executive officer, expanding on his existing position as chairman of the board. Simon Huang, a founder of Istor, will assume the role of chief operating officer working with Daly to grow Istor on a worldwide basis.

Daly's prior experience includes a CEO post with Avamar Technologies, a five year tenure as CEO of ATL Products, and CEO of Maxxess Systems. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University and continues to sit on its academic advisory board and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.
