Graham Jones Retires from NAB
Washington - Jul 7, 2010 - Graham Jones, senior director of communications engineering for the National Association of Broadcasters, has retired from the organization. He worked at the NAB for eight years, contributing to many engineering initiatives and working with outside industry groups including the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
Jones is the author of A Broadcast Engineering Tutorial for Non-Engineers and served as the associate editor of the NAB Engineering Handbook.
His past broadcast experience includes time with the BBC in London and serving as the director of engineering for the Harris/PBS DTV Express from 1997-99.
