Gino Ricciardelli named SBE Fellow
Las Vegas - Apr 7, 2014 - The Society of Broadcast Engineers has elevated one member to the membership rank of fellow. The SBE Board of Directors elected Gino Ricciardelli, CPBE, at their meeting held April 6 in Las Vegas, during the 2014 NAB Show.
Ricciardelli, of Vestal, NY, is a broadcast engineering consultant and a member of SBE Chapter 1 in Binghamton, NY. He is a charter and life member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, having joined the SBE in 1964.
The fellow honor is the highest membership level in the SBE. Members must have made significant contributions to the broadcast engineering field or the SBE. Candidates are nominated by their peers. Sixty-three members have been honored with the fellow rank in the SBE's 50-year history.
Ricciardelli will be honored during the SBE National Awards Dinner on Oct. 8, 2014, in Verona, NY. The dinner is part of the annual SBE National Meeting.
